WindSocks
Our windsocks are made from premium-quality nylon that remains flexible and responsive even in freezing temperatures. The fabric is coated with polyurethane that enhances water beading off of them and helps for a longer-lasting color retention and durability, making our orange windsocks a reliable choice. Every seam is constructed using a 3-4 needle industrial serger, and we use bonded thread for superior abrasion resistance and added UV protection. We reinforce the throat of each windsock with a 1 1/2" heavy-duty webbing-rated at 1600 PSI breaking strength-and secure it with #2 solid brass grommets for reliable attachment to our frames. Simply put, our products are built West Texas Though, ensuring performance in even the harshest conditions.
Color retention
Here is a side by side of our Windsock that is coated with others that do not coat them. Clearly they do not take the extreme West Texas sun as well. Both were placed on the same location at 15' apart for 8 months.
Frames
At West Texas Windsocks, we offer frame sizes ranging from 6" to 18" to fit a variety of applications. Each frame is formed from durable 1/4" cold-rolled steel and powder coated to help resist weather and corrosion. Our frames come standard with a 1/2" NPT nipple, and we also offer a metal nipple option for equipment that is moved regularly. Our 18" frames have enclosed double ball bearings and we are working to add that as on option to all other sizes as well.
Personal logos and printing
If you are looking for full color logos then look no further. We use the best DTF prints with the most vivid colors. We can show you samples that have been out in the oil patch for over a year and you will be impressed with them. We can screen print images as well.
